It's Earth Day! So I'm going to write sciencey haiku. Because of course I am.

Earth is pretty small,
Compared to the rest of the
Solar system's orbs.
When the sun explodes,
the earth will disintegrate.
But I will be dead.
Iron and silicon,
Magnesium, sulfur, and
nickel, calcium.
[The most common elements in the composition of the earth.]
Crust, upper mantle,
Mantle, outer core, and the
Inner core. The Earth.
Tectonic plates shift.
The ocean floor, subducted.
Ridges built, and fall.
